And Tim Cooke’s feature-length essay explores a traumatic personal schoolboy memory, sparked off by a true crime, that finds its echoes in the media, photography, time and space.
About the author
Philip Gross has published some twenty collections of poetry, most recently Between the Islands (Bloodaxe, 2020). He is a keen collaborator – with poet Lesley Saunders on A Part of the Main (Mulfran, 2018) and with Welsh-language poet Cyril Jones and artist-letterer Valerie Coffin Price on Troeon / Turnings, to which two poems published in this edition, and the accompanying artwork, belong.
