"Zhao" refers to the morning, here refers to the early years, "Xi" refers to the evening, here refers to the late years. The title of the book means flowers that bloom in the morning and collect them in the evening. It refers to Lu Xun’s recollection of people and things in his childhood, adolescence and youth.
