Independent Harley rider Jake Axelrod is conflicted when his ex-girlfriend calls from Chicago one morning at dawn. Emotionally distressed, Karen Watson begs the Boston area biker to help her get away from her control freak husband, who is a wealthy and highly respected plastic surgeon. After Jake agrees to help out and Karen arrives in Boston, he reluctantly lets the woman back into his heart. When Karen is killed a few weeks later, the biker is unjustly accused of causing her death.
