She is also a consultant for international multilateral organizations, including the Inter American Development Bank, the World Bank, and the Acuerdo de Cartagena, and official agencies such as the government of Paraguay and vice president of development at the Corporacion Financiera de Desarrollo in Peru.<br><br><b>Carmelo Mesa-Lago (Editor) </b><br> <b>Carmelo Mesa-Lago</b> is distinguished service professor emeritus of economics and Latin American studies at the University of Pittsburgh.
