About the author

Sara Melo, Ph D is a Lecturer in Management at Queen’s University Management School in Belfast. Previously she worked as a Research Fellow and Project Manager at Trinity College Dublin and as a Teaching Fellow at The York Management School, University of York where she received her Ph D in Management. Her research interests include healthcare management, innovation, organisational learning.

Prof Matthias Beck, Ph D (MIT) MArch MUP (Kansas) FRSA is chair in Public Sector Management at the Queen’s University Management School in Belfast. His research interests are in the areas of Risk, State-Business relationships, and the Political Economy of Management more generally. Previously he was chair in Public Sector Management at the University of York, UK.
