Set in the mystical kingdom of Iona, a young slave boy named Iskandar learns that he is the son of the King and Queen of Iona, once noble rulers who were seduced by the dark Lord Marduk with a promise of divine power. Mike Bird is a Lecturer in theology at Ridley Melbourne in Australia. He is the author of The Saving Righteousness of God, Jesus is the Christ, A Bird’s-Eye View of Paul, 1 Esdras, and he is editor of the New Covenant Commentary Series published by Cascade. This is his first novel.
