When Tyrese is approached by a detective, he tells him to go to hell. After all, Tyrese was raised in the hood and in the streets there’s nothing worse than a snitch. Even though he’s gone to college and earned his degree to try and improve his future, he kept getting dragged in by his old lifestyle and his abusive drug dealing boyfriend, Tyler. 

When the detective asks him to collect evidence to put his thug boyfriend behind bars, he tries to leave – that is, until he makes him an offer he can’t refuse.
