About the author
Mike Bennett has written for many performers and comedians including Frankie Howard, Phil Cool, Anita Harris and Rik Mayall, for whom he adapted a series of Grimm’s fairytales for One Media IP. He has also written for the Muppets (Henson TV), Primary Science (BBC 2), Young London (LBC) and Fun Factory ITV), as well as being a scriptwriter in residence for children’s ITV. Mike has written many plays which have appeared at theatres such as The Crucible Sheffield, Cheltenham Everyman Theatre, and Derby Playhouse, with West End and London runs at The Arts Theatre, The Mermaid Theatre and The Players. Artists appearing in his work include Jane Asher, Bernard Bresslaw, Molly Sugden, Bill Oddie and Jack Douglas to name a few.
