Desperate for revenge, she conspires with the major and they make a plot against the young man.

Dumas pere is best known for his historical novels such as The Three Musketeers, The Count of Monte Cristo and Queen Margot. Dumas fils is the best known for his novel The Lady of the Camellias, but made his fame as a dramatist. He was not only more renowned than his father during his lifetime, but also dominated the serious French stage for most of the second half of the 19th century.
