Stefan Scherbaum ist Professor für Methoden der Psychologie und kognitive Modellierung an der Technischen Universität Dresden. Er promovierte zur Anwendung der dynamischen Systemtheorie in der Entscheidungspsychologie und absolvierte parallel eine Ausbildung zum systemischen Einzel-, Paar- und Familientherapeuten in Berlin. Seit 1999 spielt er Improtheater und gründete 2008 die Improtheatergruppe Freie Spiel Kultur in Dresden. Er gibt seit 2006 Kurse in und Trainings mit Improvisationstheater in verschiedenen Kontexten und ist Mitglied und Mitbegründer der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Angewandte Improvisation in der Therapie (DGAIT e. V.).
