Inspired by a true character born in 1892 to the son of former slaves, Norvell Jamison grows up in the violent and racially impoverished south under the harsh Jim Crow laws after witnessing a young boy get brutally beaten to death by the Klan. Norvell is traumatized for life. Norvell grows up to be a quick tempered 6-foot 7 inch, 350lbs ultra-violent world wind of destruction whose blood thirsty path leads him to fighting in WWI. Upon leaving the army and after the war, he travels the world seeking adventure. This path would take him to the Belgian Congo, to an encounter with the natives of the land that would transform his life forever by taking Norvell on a bloody path of destruction.

David Goodman was born Beaumont, TX. He was raised by a God-fearing grandmother, and a hardworking grandfather. Although they didn’t have much, they gave him a lot of love. They taught him at a young age the value of hard work and gave him a passion for thriving to be the best at whatever he set out to accomplish. Those values would pay off for him in the future with higher education, and employment opportunities. When David moved to Alabama, he was met with wonderful opportunities that would later test his resolve to keep pushing through in the face of intense adversity.
After going through hardship and heartache while dealing with the ups and downs of working in the construction trade, David would later try his hand in the pro wrestling arena while also starting a family that would bear him two beautiful children.
David would eventually come back to construction work while also studying martial arts. Working on the road would take him across the country to encounter people of all walks of life. Those very people would be the catalyst to ignite his passion for storytelling. He would hone his skills as a storyteller to help pass the time on the job and to entertain his fellow co-workers. Although his life is busy, he carved out time to dive into writing which led to his first book The Adventures of Norvell Jamison.
