Erika Cornelius Smith, Ph D, researches and teaches the histories, politics, and economics of the United States, Central Europe, and the CIS as an assistant professor of history and political science at Nichols College. She holds a master”s degree in political science from Eastern Illinois University, and a doctorate degree in history from Purdue University.
