In his past experience as the founder and president of two other technology companies, Alter Net Performance and Alternate Solutions, his innovative work in the field led to several awards, including Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year in 1997, Arthur Anderson’s Best Practices Award in 1998, and a “Top 100 Hot Emerging Company” national ranking by Computer World magazine in 1998.
