Larry Holt was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. He joined the US Army at the age of seventeen, where he spent his next twenty years. Larry retired in 1985 and enrolled at Brescia University. In 1989, he earned his bachelor of arts degree in sociology and psychology from Brescia University in Owensboro, Kentucky. Larry also earned a BA degree in biblical studies from Grand Canyon University in Arizona in 2011. In September 1993, he accepted his call from the Lord Jesus to preach the gospel. In the year 2000, Larry met Kathy Petrie, and they got married in April 2002. They moved to Goodlettsville, Tennessee. Larry and his wife spent several months in Nigeria as missionaries. Larry and his wife, Kathy, are currently serving at Christian Deliverance Center in Madison, Tennessee, under the leadership of Senior Pastor Theloa Futch and Bishop Dannie Futch.
