Peggy Mann describes herself as an artist who supports her creative projects through her work in semiconductor physics.  She received degrees in physics from Transylvania University and the University of Kentucky, both located in Lexington, Kentucky. In 1989, she left graduate school in physics after winning a scholarship to attend the Art Academy of Cincinnati.
