The volume contains selections from the Valéry-Gide and Valéry-Fourment correspondence and two additional pieces, ‘The Avenues of the Mind, ‘ a magazine interview with Valéry printed in 1927, and Pierre Feline’s ‘Memories of Paul Valéry.’
