These practices open a persons awareness of him or herself as a being among many life forms, all of which are interconnected and have a place in the world. Many of the practices come from native traditions which the author has personally experienced in over 40 years of practice as a healer. The book is useful for both urban and rural dwellers, for those who seldom venture out to those who love spending time outdoors. The practices are useful additions to a wide variety of healers, including allopathic and alternative modalities.
