As a part of the Quaker community he acted as a historian and a philosopher as well as a theologian. His book entitled <i>Spiritual Energies in Daily Life</i> discusses Litt’s theological thoughts and beliefs about religion in a poignant and well-developed fashion.<br><br>Litt’s experiences as a Quaker helped shape and mold his feelings about religion, and his spiritual faith runs deep, but he makes a point to begin his book with a discussion on the near impossible task of defining that which he feels so passionately about: Religion is an experience which no definition exhausts….
