Shawn Thompson is the director of sales and recruiting at Clark Pest Control, a family-owned company since 1950. After growing up on a farm in Jerome, Idaho and playing basketball at the collegiate level, Shawn taught high school physical education and coached JV and varsity basketball in Idaho for five years. But when his nephew doubled Shawn’s annual teacher salary in just four months of doing summer sales, Shawn decided to see what sales could offer him. After two summers of selling, he quit his teaching job and began a full-time career with Clark, recruiting in Rexburg, Idaho and later in Provo, Utah. Shawn holds the record for the most sales in the history of Clark Pest Control at over 3, 000 accounts.
