Stephen W. Snuffer graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1967. He is a graduate of Bluefield State College with degrees in law and criminal justice. He also attended Mountain State University and studied paralegal science and did his graduate work in correctional counseling at Marshall University. He has been an owner of a private investigation business called Security 1st in Beckley, West Virginia. He has worked at the State of West Virginia Maximum Correctional Center as a Drug Therapist.
Mr. Snuffer lives on Snuffer Mountain with his wife of 14 years. Together they have five children and nine grandchildren.
He is the author of several books, including:
