Tim Murray is Professor of Archaeology at La Trobe University, and has taught at the Universities of Cambridge, Leiden, Paris 1 (Pantheon-Sorbonne), and Sydney. He has written extensively on the history and philosophy of archaeology, the archaeology of Aboriginal-European contact in Australia, and on heritage matters.
