About the author
I started about ten books before Imperfection came into my mind. It was maybe December 2nd of 2009 when I decided that I should write an inspirational speech about death. When I finished the speech, I was so eager to write a book to go with it that Imperfection was written right before my hands. I have to say that if it had not been for my knee injury, then I would not have finsihed it for sure. Then when in Mammoth and my toes swelled up, I got more done than I could have possibly imagined. I officially finished Imperfection on Feburary 26th 2010 at 8:08 pm.
I know that in those couple of sentences, I said nothing about myself so now I will. First of all, I have always loved writing (I even think I wrote seventeen books in 1st grade). Second, horses are my passion. I ride with the Arranaga Arabians on the show circuit where I show off my ten year old half arabian mare named BSA Jackie O. We call her Jackie for short. Third, I think that it’s important to know that lately I have been prone to injuries and allergic reactions. Basically, that’s how I finished my book.
Imperfection was influenced by a lot of things. I’m pretty sure that it was most influenced by the TV show that I was watching called Heroes. That’s where the lion part of the book came to be. I’m also sure that the new movie Avatar influenced the fighting animals part and the obligations part. You would think that I was influenced by like Narnia, but no, that had nothing to do with anything. Other than that, I can’t say that I took anymore ideas from anyone.
Lastly, I’d like to say that if you want to check out more of Jade and Sam go online. Look for the pictures at imperfection.wetpaint.com.
