Myth and Truth in Feng Shui and Bazi

Ondersteuning

It was only human for us to hope that perhaps we could improve our luck preferably within the shortest possible time frame (also known as The Quick Fix.) But the layman became confused when some of the feng shui methods he tried did not seem to work.
One popular example of a commonly held myth was that if he chose an auspicious number for his car plate, residence or workplace, it would bring him good luck.
This book hoped to explain and clarify to the readers how to differentiate between what was authentic and what was fake in the practice of Feng Shui and Ba Zi.
While there are numerous books on feng shui, few of them tried to explain the differences between the truthful methods that worked and the myths that did not stand up to cross examination.
If the readers could benefit from this insight, this book would have served its purpose.

Over de auteur

Alan Chong is the founder of Art-of-Destiny.com. He considers himself very blessed in his journey in Chinese metaphysics in the last eight years. He had the privilege to be trained under two great lineage Feng Shui masters. Today he is involved in both yin and yang Feng Shui consulting and training.
Au Yong Chee Tuck, the editor studied Ba Zi under two masters. To his chagrin, he found that the teachings between the different schools was worlds apart. More pertinently, he also realized that there seemed to be some dichotomy between theory and practice. Sometimes the concept seemed fine in theory but it did not help to resolve the client’s issues by even one iota.
In an effort to unearth the reasons, he became increasingly drawn to research. He has published some results of his initial research on the website www.astrologyisfun.com.
After writing his first book, he chose to concentrate on writing books rather than articles for a website.
When Alan Chong suggested that the writing of a possible joint venture book, he readily accepted the proposal.
We liked to think that this book might have given hope to some of our readers.
