Mr. Hedgehog and Mr. Mouse were neighbors in the Patchwork Forest. The two of them loved to do the same things: drink tea, take care of the garden, draw, and relax their toes under the sunlight. But one day, Mr. Hedgehog noticed that Mr. Mouse’s cherry tree was so tall that it was blocking his precious sunrays. From that moment on, there was no more peace in that Forest!

Alessandra de Paula was born in São Paulo and now lives in London, England. She graduated in Propaganda and Publicity. Inspired by her grandpa’s stories, Alessandra writes children’s fiction books. This one, she wrote with her husband, Graham Meaden.
Graham was born in the UK. Although by profession a consultant and author in the field of business architecture consultancy, Graham was inspired to write a children’s story while playing with his son Arthur.
