Over de auteur
Allan Cates was born in the Hills of North Arkansas, He was the youngest of four children and the only one who never knew his father, who died when Allan was a toddler. As an adult, he built tall buildings, airports, power plants, and bridges from coast to coast in the United States. Following his retirement from the University of Texas System in Austin, he travelled the world, documenting his adventures from Boston to Brunei and from Cuba to Casablanca.
