The Russian phasing of the battle will begin by fighting against the Mongol rearguard; will evolve to safety by the Cumans in the formation of the Russian battle line; continuation will depend on the Mongol reaction, but remembering first not to be defeated, then trying to win, if only with the Mongol withdrawal.
