The Tales of Teddy Fitzbear follows the perils of lovable character Teddy Fitzbear, as he navigates life through Hurricane Heather, from storm warning to landfall. He calls his furry friends to alert them of the forecast, and tries to calm their fears while, at the same time, providing a plan to help them protect themselves. This book is a fun learning tool with a happy ending to inform kids about the categories of a hurricane, and what steps to take to prepare to help keep them as safe as possible.

Andrea G. Rollin is a journalist with more than 20 years of experience. She has written for magazines, newspapers, and businesses. The Tales of Teddy Fitzbear is her first children’s book and will be followed by a series of Teddy Fitzbear books about natural disasters. Ms. Rollin, who lives in Florida, based this book on her own experiences with hurricanes.
