Cynthia G. Last, Ph D, is a clinical psychologist in private practice who specializes in cognitive-behavioral treatment for anxiety disorders. She is internationally recognized for her academic work on childhood fears and anxiety. Dr. Last has directed child and adolescent anxiety disorder programs at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She is the author or editor of 12 books, including Anxiety Disorders in Children, and has been quoted in The New York Times, USA Today, and Parenting. She has appeared as an expert on national television programs.
