Chapter Five introduces the significance and application of health monitoring methods, and some of the traditional health monitoring methods are introduced. Chapter Six presents a systematic review of upper arm exoskeletons to find out under what clinical conditions use of such devices may be beneficial, what could be the technical requirements and what user interface must be provided to enhance their acceptability.
