Professor Bhattacharyya”s principal interests lie in the macroscopic and microscopic modelling of composite materials and their applications in design and manufacturing. He has about 300 publications including two books on (Elsevier 1997, Hanser Verlag 2007)) and several book chapters/monographs. He has given keynote/plenary/invited papers and lectures in many countries, has chaired numerous technical sessions and has served many international technical committees. He serves on the editorial advisory boards of several international journals and has extensive research/consulting experience in New Zealand and overseas.
