Emily Marie Bowles is a journalist and poet as well as a champion of the underdog. Her resiliency through overcoming significant challenges channels into creating written works that alchemically shift situations from hardships to stories of redemption. Emily was renamed Raj Devi in 2020 after undergoing a Kundalini Shakti awakening and she now teaches yoga and practices Reiki in Northern California. She is Mother to one special daughter, Lydia Marie, who is also a champion at crafting compelling stories. Emily continues to write creative nonfiction and human-interest pieces as well as perform spoken word poetry. Her series of children”s books are intended to speak on the human condition and create a conversation starter for parents and kids dealing with the big issues that face little people everywhere.
