Gerrit Meijer, geboren 1947, macht neben seinen bürgerlichen Broterwerbsberufen als Maschinenschlosser, Gartenbauer, Lagerarbeiter und Kleindarsteller seit 1965 Musik, unter anderem mit der Beat-Band The Voodoos. 1977 gründete er Westberlins erste Punkband PVC mit. Es folgten weitere Bandprojekte sowie zwei Comebacks mit PVC 1988 und 2006. Er lebt in Berlin.
