Ondersteuning
The Eyes of the World’s “Fairlands” is obviously Redlands, the California town Harold Bell Wright moved to from Lebanon, Missouri. He was a pastor at a Disciples of Christ church there for a few months in 1907 before he devoted himself full-time to his writing career. That Printer of Udell’s, his first book, was in fact a series of sermons.Wright enjoyed much success in his writing. He had many books on the best-seller list including The Winning of Barbra Worth, Their Yesterdays, The Recreation of Brian Kent, Helen of the Old House, The Mine with the Iron Door, and of course The Eyes of the World.
