Harry Lyman Koopman (1860-1937) was an American librarian, bibliophile, and writer. After graduating from Colby College in 1880, he went on to become the cataloguer for Cornell University, as well as for several other colleges—eventually working as Librarian of Brown University. Koopman was elected president of the American Library Association in 1928.
