Beyond Silicon is the definitive manifesto for underrepresented entrepreneurs and an exposé of the toxic, tech-bro cult of Silicon Valley individualism.
After founding Part Pic in 2013, Jewel Burks Solomon became the first ever Black female to scale and sell her business to a Fortune 5 company when it was bought by Amazon in 2016. Along the way she overcame obstacles and faced down bigotry, carried through by the strength of her vision and her resilience.
Out of these bruising yet triumphant experiences comes
Beyond Silicon: a celebration of team-work and collaboration, a paean to the power of purpose in the face of adversity, and a manifesto for under-respresented entreprenuers everywhere.
Beyond Silicon goes under the skin of entrepreneurial culture like never before, and offers a practical guide for business success.
