Jerry Champion is a United States Army veteran of the 7th Infantry Division – Fort Ord, California. It was while he was in the Army that he first
visited the Island of Alcatraz. That visit led to his eventual career in Law Enforcement. With over ten years experience as a Correctional Officer in
the state of Florida, Jerry continues to enjoy the dream job that was inspired by his trip to a tourist attraction.
