Along the way, Nick sees what life can become when people of influence use their power to serve others. Told in the style of a memoir, My Senior Year is a coming-of-age story filled with laughter, pathos, surprises, and the kind of interesting people found in the mixed culture of Pueblo, Colorado.

Jim Towne is the husband of forty-four years to Becky, father to Halee, Jimmy, Dylan, and Carly, and grandfather to seven girls and three boys. A native of Pueblo, Colorado, Jim lived on Belmont Street for the first nine years of his life. Ideas for My Senior Year began bouncing around in his head around 1995, but the first words were finally written in 2015. Storytelling is part of the culture of Pueblo and of Jim’s family.
