An ethereal family drama, Joe White’s debut play Mayfly explores rebirth in the aftermath of tragedy. It premiered at the Orange Tree Theatre, Richmond, in April 2018.

Joe is a graduate of the Royal Court Young Writers’ Programme and Invited Studio Group. He was previously a member of the BBC Writersroom 10, and recipient of the Channel 4 Playwriting
Award. In 2015 he was the Writer in Residence of Pentabus Theatre Company, and in 2017 he was selected for the Old Vic 12 and Orange Tree Writers Collective. Mayfly was his debut play.
