Jordan Jones was strangely reluctant to return to Tri-State University for his second year. Was he out of step with his generation? What was the problem? Later, at their church seminary, Isabel taught Religious Education, and John, New Testament studies.
After Isabels death in 2004, John continues to write, especially for their twenty great-grandchildren.
