GENRE: Children’s Adventure (An Unofficial Minecraft Book for Kids Ages 9 – 12 (Preteen) After finally befriending the human girl, Herobrine dubs Jasper and Alex, official ‘acolytes-in-training’, and assigns them to their first task: deliver a message to a person in the Nether realm. A fiery underworld full of lava, rocks and monsters who would be willing to attack Alex on- sight, Jasper has a hard time believing this is a ‘beginner’s task’. It doesn’t help in the least that this will mark Jasper’s first time in the Nether realm ever. However all these risks are nothing compared to what they discover: a dangerous human named ‘Steve’ has been going around the Nether and causing trouble. Alex seems to know about this, but doesn’t seem keen on telling Jasper about it. Confused as to who this ‘Steve’ person is, Jasper has to find a way to learn the truth. Why is Steve deemed to be a dangerous person? Why is Alex being quiet about him? And who exactly is Steve? Author’s Note: This short story is for your reading pleasure.
