Mark S. Johnson, Pharm D, BCPS is Professor of Pharmacy Practice and Director of Postgraduate Education at the Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy, Shenandoah University. His teaching and research include spirituality in pharmacy, infectious diseases pharmacotherapy, residency teaching and learning curriculum programs, and new drugs. Dr. Johnson has been teaching “Spirituality in Patient Care” as a 3-hour elective course to pharmacy students for over 10 years. He has also taught spirituality inter-professionally to physician assistant and other health professions students. Dr. Johnson has presented at professional meetings and published research manuscripts from his work on spirituality and health. He is a Commissioned Ruling Elder for the Shenandoah Presbytery serving at Buckton Presbyterian Church, Front Royal, VA. He is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy and completed residency training at VCU Health System.
