As an Erasmus student from Germany, this topic is of particular interest to me and has already accompanied me intensively before my stay in Paris as a preparation for the semester abroad. In the last section, I will share my own opinion and thoughts on this topic.
To structure my text in a meaningful way, I will refer to some cultural dimensions outlined by Edward T. Hall, Geert Hofstede as well as Fons Trompenaars and Charles Hampden-Turner and apply them to France and Germany.
