In “Zionism and Anti-Semitism, ” Nordau analytically addresses the scourge of anti-Semitism and articulates a vision for the Jewish nationalist movement, offering not just a political plea but an incisive analysis of the social climate of his era. As a renowned orator and public intellectual, his writings, which also include the notable “Degeneration” (Entartung, 1892), reflect his profound concern with fin-de-siècle moral and cultural decay.
