Sara Hamdan is the global managing editor of Protocol Labs, an American tech VC. After winning a Netflix short story award, she received the Emirates Literature Foundation Seddiqi First Chapter Writers” Fellowship for her debut novel, What Will People Think? featuring an Arab American, female stand-up comedian. Sara”s novel went on to win a landmark two book deal with Holt and will come out early 2025. A Berkeley and Columbia graduate, Sara has called Dubai home for nearly 20 years.
