Muhammad Tahir obtained his Ph D degree in Chemical Engineering. Currently, he is Assistant Professor and head of Photocatalysis Lab at School of Chemical and Energy Engineering, University Technology Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia. He is an active researcher in the areas of heterogeneous photocatalysis, design of new functional materials, and reaction engineering for CO2 reduction and hydrogen production. His current research interest focuses on the development of advanced structured materials for environmental and energy applications. He has published 150 peer-reviewed papers with h-index of 40.
