A general genetic catastrophe has been developing during the last 120 years, but mostly after 1950. The HIGH and INCREASING prevalence and HIGH and INCREASING incidence of genetic damage/genetic disorders/genetic diseases all over the world logically prove that we have a general genetic catastrophe (GGC).

Nils K. Oeijord was born in Norway in 1947. A graduate of the Agricultural University of Norway, he also studied mathematics at the Universities of Trondheim and Tromsoe, in Norway as well. He is a former assistant professor of mathematics at Tromsoe College, Norway, and is the author of several scientific works in Norwegian and English. Nils K. Oeijord is the discoverer of the genetic catastrophe (and derailed evolution) and the co-discoverer of the Bronston heritability coefficient. He published the first book on the genetic catastrophe, the first dictionary of genetic damage, the first dictionary of human instincts, and the first Scandinavian book on the Waldsterben. Oeijord is the founder of two Yahoo! Groups: Genetic Catastrophe Group (2003) and Evolutionary Psychology Group (2003), and one Google Group: Derailed Evolution / Genetic Catastrophe (2005).
