The plot develops as Jeremy's relationship with Phyllis grows more convoluted and Ukridge's chicken farm becomes more chaotic. When Ukridge's treasured rooster is stolen, the matter to a head, and the gang embarks on an outrageous quest to find it. There are several amusing incidents, misunderstandings, and clever conversations along the road, as only Wodehouse can provide.
