ROBERT POTTER worked for thirty three years in Information Technology in large global pharmaceutical companies. He successfully navigated several corporate mergers, experiencing at first hand their impact on employees at all levels. He saw their huge costs, measured in both dollars and jobs, and their benefits, which invariably fell short of the stated goals. On the plus side none of his colleagues died in suspicious circumstances. Now retired, he lives with his wife in SE Pennsylvania, playing golf, tennis and writing. He has two children, both working but neither in the pharmaceutical business.
