Scott Fowler is a national award-winning sports columnist for The Charlotte Observer, the largest newspaper in the Carolinas. He has written for The Observer since 1994. A 1987 graduate of the University of North Carolina, Fowler was once sports editor of The Daily Tar Heel campus newspaper. Fowler has authored or coauthored four previous books-two about Tar Heel basketball-and has appeared on both HBO and ESPN to discuss the UNC program. He and his wife, Elise, live with their four children in North Carolina.
