At Work With Norman is a story about a team of people that undertake a big construction job by the sea. There are many aspects to the job involving a lot of interesting machines. It’s not all work and no play, though, as Norman organises a team building exercise buthe has a different kind of ‘building’ in mind.
Norman’s family get a new addition that not everyone I happy about.
Norman, Sara, Craig and Scruffy head to the school fair for a fun day out and are surprised by Nigel, one of Norman’s workers who joins the family for some fun events. Scruffy gets himself into a spot of trouble.
A surprise party is organised for Norman on his birthday and one of his gifts is a small key that turns out to be a very big surprise.
Norman organises a fishing trip for everyone unfortunately Nigel’s lucky hat proves to be not so lucky after all.

Stephen Cooper is not known for his writing but is well known in his industry of civil construction. After 32 years at the coalface, he has a wide array of experience in the business for ‘Norman’ to draw from.
